Jeremy McNeil is an associate at Vasseghi Law Group, where he represents businesses, executives, professional practices, and individuals in employment and business disputes. Jeremy works primarily with the firm’s litigation practice, representing clients in state and federal court.

Prior to joining Vasseghi Law Group, Jeremy practiced at a leading international law firm, where he represented individuals, corporations, and professional sports teams in complex state and federal investigations and litigation, including matters involving allegations of securities fraud, insider trading, violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, and violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act (RICO). His experience included developing case strategy, managing discovery, drafting motions and other litigation documents, second-chairing depositions, and preparing witnesses and evidentiary materials. He represented both plaintiffs and defendants in these matters, giving him experience evaluating disputes from both sides and developing strategies for pursuing and defending complex claims.

Jeremy earned his J.D. from Howard University School of Law in 2023, where he served as a teaching assistant for Property and worked in the Reentry Clinic. As a student attorney in the Reentry Clinic, Jeremy represented individuals seeking record sealing and post-conviction relief and participated in community outreach programs. He received his B.A. in Political Science from York College of Pennsylvania in 2018.

Toby advises and represents clients in labor, employment, and disability-rights matters. Drawing on more than a decade at the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB), he helps employers and employees navigate complex workplace disputes, administrative investigations, and litigation before administrative agencies and in state and federal courts.

Through his work in various roles at the NLRB, including senior counsel to previous Board members and chairs, detailed in the Office of Representation Appeals, and assistant chief counsel to a Board member, Toby gained invaluable experience with procedure and precedent under the National Labor Relations Act (NLRA). He currently serves as a contributing editor on the leading treatise on private sector traditional labor law, The Developing Labor Law: The Board, the Courts, and the National Labor Relations Act, Bloomberg BNA.

Toby also brings deep experience in disability-rights advocacy and has helped individuals with disabilities in navigating various systems of support and services. Toby has served in multiple leadership roles with disability-related non-profit organizations and has played critical roles in improving policies at the local, state, and federal level. Toby previously served for several years as a member of the Fairfax County School Board’s Advisory Committee for Students with Disabilities, and he helped establish the Fairfax County Special Education Parent Teacher Association (PTA). He and his wife spearheaded a successful effort in 2025 to pass Virginia’s first law pertaining to people who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in the public-school setting. Toby has dedicated much of his work to expanding equitable access and inclusive practices in the workplace and our public schools.

Prior to law school, Toby handled personnel matters as a human resources representative for a Virginia-based Fortune 500 company. He also served in the Army, deploying to Kuwait and Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Toby received his Juris Doctor, with a concentration in labor and employment law, from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University. He grew up in Norfolk, Virginia, and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Old Dominion University.

Roya is an employment and business litigation attorney representing businesses, executives, professional practices, and individuals in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland in complex, high-stakes disputes.

A trial lawyer by training, Roya has spent the majority of her career litigating complex employment and commercial matters throughout the DMV, including executive employment disputes, restrictive covenant enforcement, trade secret claims, shareholder and contract disputes, and other business conflicts. Her litigation experience spans a wide range of industries and forums, giving her a practical understanding of how disputes arise, evolve, and are resolved.

Roya’s counseling is informed by extensive litigation experience, allowing her to help clients minimize risk, preserve leverage, and avoid unnecessary litigation when possible. She regularly advises employers and healthcare practices across Virginia, DC, and Maryland on terminations, disciplinary actions, executive separations, internal investigations, and workforce disputes, with an emphasis on minimizing exposure while positioning clients effectively if a dispute escalates.

Roya also conducts independent outside employment investigations on behalf of companies and boards in Virginia, Washington, DC, and Maryland, including investigations involving allegations across multiple levels of employees. She is frequently engaged when neutrality, credibility, and litigation judgment are critical.

In addition to her broader business litigation practice, Roya represents physicians and healthcare practices in professional liability and licensing matters, including proceedings before state and federal regulatory and licensing boards in Virginia, DC, and Maryland. She is frequently sought out by healthcare professionals and practice groups for matters that sit at the intersection of employment law, business operations, and regulatory risk.
